The service
Rote is a free educational tool for creating and reviewing flashcards. This version is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, retention outcomes, or error-free scheduling. Features may change as the project develops.
Your content and backups
You retain your rights to your own study material. You are responsible for the accuracy and permitted use of content you create, import, or share. Keep exports of material you want to preserve; browser storage is not a permanent backup.
Educational use
Starter decks and guides are general educational material. They are not professional advice or a substitute for checking authoritative sources. Rote does not assess your competence, issue qualifications, or validate imported answers.
Respectful use
Use the site lawfully. Do not interfere with its operation or use it to distribute material you are not entitled to share. Shared-deck links are user-created content rather than an endorsement by Rote.
