Rote is built around a small gap between discovering something and actually keeping it. A saved link is useful, but it does not give your memory a chance to retrieve an idea.
Make the practice easy
Write a question, write an answer, and return for a short review. That is the core of Rote. The name comes from learning through repetition; the product pairs repetition with an honest attempt to recall.
Start using it immediately
Rote is free and runs in your browser. There is no account, payment, or AI credit balance. You can start with a public starter deck or make your own.
Keep control of your material
Decks and review history stay on your device. Export a backup and move it when you need to. Clearing browser storage will erase the local copy, so we make the backup button easy to find.
An independent project
Rote is operated by the team behind UltimateZone, Freeboard, and Deathwatch. The .si domain is used as our address; the extension is Slovenia’s country-code domain. The product is an independent learning tool.
